Web Redesign
"I already have a website. Why would I need it redesigned?"
Ask yourself the following questions.
- Does your site require aesthetic work? (e.g. uncomplimentary colour scheme, an unintuitive layout)
- Do some pages take a long time to load?
- Does your site contain outdated content?
- Are there inconsistencies on your web pages? (e.g. mismatched font styles)
- Does your site have poor quality graphics? (e.g. jagged edges, long download times)
- Are your competitor's websites more professional-looking than your own?
- Would you like to add new content to your site?
- Are there any broken links?
- Does your site appear unsatisfactorily in certain web browsers?
- Do you have trouble updating your site, or do you lack the technical know-how to do so?
- Are you uncertain that your site meets accessibility requirements?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you might wish to consider a redesign of your site.
"Unless the first impression is favourable, visitors will be out of your site before they even know that you might be offering more than your competitors."
- HCI researcher Dr. G. Lindegaard, quoted from a BBC News article about web usability

According to a recent report published by the BBC, web surfers make up their mind about web sites within only a few moments of viewing it. (Click here to view the story) If you have a poorly-made or out-of-date website, it reflects badly on you or your company.
Accessibility
In an age where the public are becoming increasingly web-savvy it is essential that your website is up-to-date, visually appealing and - most importantly of all - accessible. An accessible website is ethical and good for business; an inaccessible website can leave your business open to discrimination claims under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).
